Finishing up the month of April with these last two meals before I take the month of May off to head to the Pacific Northwest. I’ll be exploring the flavors that Montana, Idaho, and Washington have to offer. Hope to bring some inspiration for Humble Rise home with me. Stop by the Arcata Playhouse on Tuesday or Friday from 4:30-5:30pm to return your containers.

Blackened salmon that’s oh so scrumptious with a blend of flavors of paprika, garlic, thyme,oregano, cayenne, and so much more. Creates a robust, slight heat and delectable flavor. Top off your filet with a juicy spring strawberry salsa. Finish this meal off with a tangy black bean, yam, and kale salad that’s dressed with an avocado cumin dressing. Bring it all together with a mushroom wild rice! Enjoy this delicious and colorful meal created by Humble Rise.

This vegetarian meal will have an array of flavors from my flaky cheesy leak kale galette to a big serving of roasted carrot garden herb soup, then finished off with a sprout and shaved asparagus salad dressed in a Meyer lemon vinaigrette. Your choice to add chicken to your salad if you wish, just say in your order.

2 olive oil chocolate chunk cookies each kissed with flaky salt in top
